Coach Reed grew up with a soccer ball at his feet, developing a love for the game at an early age while competing against his two older brothers and learning from his father, who coached varsity soccer for more than 30 years.

Reed attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and later a Master’s in Accountancy. A four-year starting center midfielder for the Rhodes College Lynx, he earned All-SCAC honors three times and was named NSCAA All-Region and NSCAA Scholar All-Region in 2001. In 1999, Reed ranked 13th nationally in NCAA Division III with 0.61 assists per game and finished his collegiate career with 29 assists.

Following his playing career, Reed served as an assistant coach at Rhodes for two seasons. He is excited to return to coaching and share his passion for the game with young athletes. His coaching philosophy emphasizes teaching strong fundamentals, hard work, and creating an environment where players can grow both on and off the field. Grounded in his Christian faith, Reed is committed to helping athletes develop not only as soccer players, but also in character, confidence, and faith.

Outside of coaching, Reed enjoys spending time with his family, traveling—often taking in a soccer match along the way—and playing golf.
