Steve Ackley
Assistant CoachSteven Ackley has been around basketball his entire life and has a deep love for the game. After playing through high school and intending to play and coach for the rest of his life, Steven walked away from opportunities to continue playing at the college level as he felt compelled instead to pursue a career in ministry. Steven coached on a number of levels, including for several years in the Calvary system—at different points coaching the varsity girls team, JV boys team, and serving as one of Coach Rybak's assistants with the varsity boys for several seasons. Steven currently serves as one of the Pastors at Calvary, has 4 kids in school at CDS, and his wife works at CDS as well. Steven's philosophy is to create an environment that fosters player development, love for the game, and the highest degree of effort.
