Application Process

We thank you for pursuing Calvary Day School as a partner with your family in the Christian education of your child. The following checklist for the appropriate division you are applying for will assist you in the admissions process. **Before submitting an application we advise you to check with the Admissions Office regarding availability in your preferred grade.  Waiting Pools have already started to form in some grades, but not all.  If an application is received for a grade with a waiting pool, your application will be put on hold until an active spot becomes available. No student will be put in the Waiting Pool without a submitted application and the $100 application fee is non-refundable.**

How to Apply 2 year olds-Transitional Kindergarten

1. Submit/Access an application

In addition to the online application, Calvary Day School requires a record of the student's birth certificate and updated immunizations. These documents can be provided after an application is submitted. The student needs to be the age of the class that they are applying for by the start of school. For the TK program, the student must be five before the start of school.

2. Interview with the Preschool Director

Once we have received a completed admissions file with all the requested documentation, the school will contact you to schedule this interview. The interview will be conducted on the campus of Calvary Day School and at least one parent is required to attend.

3. Accept Enrollment

If all admissions requirements are satisfied, the CDS Admissions Office will notify the parent of an offer of enrollment. The parents will receive instructions on the steps needed to accept the offer of enrollment.

How to Apply Kindergarten-12th Grade

1. Submit/Access an application

In addition to the online application, Calvary Day School requires records from the student’s current school, as well as observations from teachers and the principal or guidance counselor. Admissions documents can be provided after an application is submitted. For Kindergarten, the student needs to be at least five years old before the first day of school.

2. Interview with the principal

Once we have received a completed admissions file with all the requested documentation, the school will contact you to schedule your principal meeting. The interview will be conducted on the campus of Calvary Day School and at least one parent is required to attend. If meeting with the Upper School Principal, at least one parent and the student must attend, plus a school tour with our Admissions Director is also required with one or both parents and the prospective student. This tour can be scheduled anytime before the principal meeting or in conjunction with it. 

3. Accept Enrollment

If all admissions requirements are satisfied, the CDS Admissions Office will notify the parent of an offer of enrollment. The parents will receive instructions on the steps needed to accept the offer of enrollment.
