Application Process

How to Apply 2 year olds - Transitional Kindergarten

• Submit/Access an application

In addition to the online application, Calvary Day School requires a record of the student's birth certificate and updated immunizations. These documents can be provided after an application is submitted. The student needs to be the age of the class that they are applying for by the start of school. For the TK program, the student must be five before the start of school.

• Review of File

After an admissions file is complete it is put into a Waiting Pool for each specific grade. The Admissions Team will then review files for all available spots to determine enrollment.  If no space is available in a specific grade an application will remain in the waiting pool until further notice.   

• Interview with the Preschool Director

Once we have received a completed admissions file with all the requested documentation, the school will contact you to schedule this interview. The interview will be conducted on the campus of Calvary Day School and at least one parent is required to attend as well as the prospective preschool student.

• Accept Enrollment

If all admissions requirements are satisfied, the CDS Admissions Office will notify the parent of an offer of enrollment. The parents will receive instructions on the steps needed to accept the offer of enrollment.

How to Apply Kindergarten-12th Grade

• Submit/Access an application

In addition to the online application, Calvary Day School requires documentation from a student's previous school. These admissions documents can be provided after an application is submitted. An academic assessment administered by CDS is also required for students applying for K - 8th grades. 

• Review of File

After an admissions file is complete it is put into a Waiting Pool for each specific grade. The Admissions Team will then review files for all available spots to determine enrollment.  If no space is available in a specific grade an application will remain in the waiting pool until further notice. 

• Interview with the principal

An interview will be conducted on the campus of Calvary Day School with the Upper or Lower School Principal and at least one parent.

In Lower School, the prospective 5th or 6th grade student will need to be present during the parent interview. 

In Upper School, the prospective 7th - 12th grade student will need to be present during the interview and a school tour with our Admissions Director is also required with one or both parents and the prospective student. This tour can be scheduled anytime before the principal meeting or in conjunction with it.
