Tuition, Fees, & Scholarships

APPLICATION FEE
An Application Fee of $110 is due at the time an application is submitted for all prospective students. An Enrollment Fee of $60 will be paid once enrollment is offered. These fees are not refundable.

REGISTRATION FEE
Returning students pay a Registration Fee of $140, which will hold a student’s place for the next school year. This fee is non‐refundable.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT TUITION & FEES
Please contact the Admissions Office for more information regarding admissions for international students in grades 9-12.

OPTIONAL SERVICES & ACTIVITIES

Tuition and curriculum fees do not include costs for optional services and activities such as:

• Calvary Learning Resources
• Athletics
• AP Courses
• Extended Care
• Overnight Field Trips

PAYMENT PLANS

Calvary Day School uses myCDS (FACTS) Payment Plans.  They are a leading provider of tuition management, providing 24/7 service and mobile-friendly payment options. View a list of myCDS (FACTS) FAQ’s. Tuition may be paid in full or in monthly installments (June 2026 - May 2027) via automatic draft.  Once enrollment has been accepted, your myCDS (FACTS) account will be charged 10% of the standard tuition rate as a down payment which will be subtracted from the tuition balance.  The remaining balance (minus the down payment) will be drafted monthly from June to May. 

TUITION ASSISTANCE

Calvary Day School does offer Tuition Assistance for families who meet certain criteria through Variable Tuition and Scholarship Opportunities. More information on Variable Tuition and Scholarships are found below.

How to Apply

The general process for applying for Variable Tuition (VT) is as follows:

1. New parents must fill out an application for admission to Calvary Day School before the VT application. 
2. New and returning parents must fill out and submit a separate variable tuition application with a 3rd party company called myCDS (FACTS) Financial Aid Management, to be eligible in the 2026-2027 school year. 
3. Please go to the FACTS WEBSITE to obtain this application.  Scroll to the section entitled Apply for Financial Aid with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment and click the APPLY NOW button.
4. Complete all paperwork. Once W-2’s are received and taxes have been filed, upload documents to the VT application on FACTS to complete the process. 
5. All applicants submitting an application to Variable Tuition must also complete an application for the NC Opportunity Scholarship.

Great News!

The NC Opportunity Scholarship Program provides K-12 students the opportunity to receive money from the State to help pay for their tuition, regardless of financial income.  The OSP was first established in 2014 and we currently have 720 CDS students who receive funding.  Click on the link above to learn more about the program and to create a MyPortal account.  Once the OSP application portal opens for the 2026-2027 school year, submit an application for each of your students.
