Students whose dyslexia has been documented by a licensed PH.D psychologist may receive Orton-Gillingham (OG) language therapy if space is available within our program. This therapy is provided four days per week during the school day. Students may participate after school as scheduling permits.

The fee for Orton-Gillingham language therapy is $8,000 per school year, and the language therapy schedule operates on the school calendar. There is an additional $200 registration fee each year. The registration fee is due upon acceptance into the program. Students enrolled in language therapy receive testing accommodations for no additional charge. Testing accommodations include extended time, separate setting, read-aloud and/or scribe as specified by the psychologist.

For students who are not enrolled in our Orton-Gillingham language therapy program, as outlined above, we offer fee-based testing accommodations which include extended time, separate setting, read aloud, and/or scribe.  These accommodations are based on current psychological educational evaluations from a licensed PhD psychologist. Students will be monitored by trained proctors who strive to ensure an environment conducive to optimum assessment. Read-aloud and scribed testing will be done one-on-one with proctors for an additional fee. Every effort will be made for students to begin their testing during the time that their class is taking the test.  Students who enroll in this program will be allowed to take all their regular tests, including standardized tests which are offered on Calvary’s campus, in this environment.

Fees  - Accommodation fees will be assessed at the beginning of the school year and are non-refundable.

Calvary Learning Resources' Occupational Therapy ( "OT") service strives to help students who have difficulty participating in meaningful activities, or "occupations," that are needed to conduct their daily routines.  Through this service, we offer teaching, training, and assistance by providing therapeutic approaches to these areas of challenge with the goal to do so in a Christ-centered atmosphere that also fosters creativity and inspiration.

• Occupational therapy consultations are available per parent and/or teacher request.

• Occupational therapy is provided by Jessica Allen, MSOT, OTR/L

• Occupational therapy is conducted during school day hours on Calvary Day School's campus

Fees:
  * Occupational Therapy Consultation - $35
  * Occupational Therapy - $110/hour

If a student needs or desires a private tutor in a specific subject, the Calvary Learning Resource coordinator will provide parents with information on the availability of approved tutors and will assist in making the tutoring arrangements.

Subject tutoring can range from one to five sessions per week.  A session is 60 minutes if conducted during a study hall period within the Upper School, and all after-school sessions are 60 minutes.  For Lower School students, subject tutoring sessions are held after school.

Classroom accommodation (not including testing accommodations) for students with documented learning needs are performed by classroom teachers. There is no additional fee for these services. These accommodations are based on the current psychological educational evaluation (within the last 3 years).
