Commencement Speaker

CDS is pleased to announce Dwight Castle as this year's Commencement speaker. Dwight Castle is a Winston-Salem native and Calvary Day School alum of 2003. He lives in Birmingham, Alabama, with his wife of 14 years, Stephanie, and their 5 children. He holds a BA in Communication Studies from Samford University and an MA in Human Services Counseling from Regent University. He currently serves as a Pastor and Elder at Redeemer Community Church, with oversight of Missions, as well as Marriage and Care Ministries. He has served at Redeemer since helping to plant it in 2008, after returning from overseas missions work in Northern Ireland. Dwight loves to spend his spare time backpacking, camping, spearfishing, doing CrossFit, traveling, and anything that will get him outdoors with friends or family. In reality, spare time is rare, and he spends most of his time caring for the souls of those he loves most.
